Audience Analysis
The instructor is critical in understanding that I conduct extensive research on the topic. Therefore, essential items should not be missed in the presentation as proof of extensive research. The details about the point son the safety of the patients while in the hands of the nurses should be conspicuous. This includes supporting the points with peer research articles. The use of graphics and data on the topic of discussion is a crucial enhancer to cementing the presentation. The presentation should also have points touching on three key aspects, pathos, ethos, and logos. This is because eliciting emotions in the audience brings relevance to the issue. This means the presentation must not lack the arguments for, arguments against, and the position statement. By bringing out these aspects, the instructor will be impressed that the desired amount of research was dedicated to the discussion topic.
One of the critical ingredients to impressing my peers is recognizing them and their contributions and arguments on the topic. I believe that my contributions to the case resemble their contributions. Thus, I will explain how my presentation improves or adds more value to what a few have mentioned by specifying the individuals with their names. The use of statistics and research findings from published articles with relevant graphics makes them believe. Touching on their emotions is also vital. I will use ethos; here, I will include a recent development in patient care and safety that is beneficial to them as individuals. I will get relevant statistics and graphical presentations for logos to bring the imagery to their minds. For pathos, I will cite information pertinent to the topic from reputable scholars that prove my points are from peer-reviewed sources.
