When you listen fully without judging, actively, you understand the view point of others and communicate better. See the example of Sherry in the chapter and the amazing results that she achieved because of her amazing active listening skills (pages 50-51 of TSP).
By the way, I just gave you a hint for a lesson and an example from this chapter… You must still need do the work on developing your slide though: title, lesson, example!
Also check the textbook for more information on active listening, what it entails etc: pages 402 and 413 in the 10th edition of the textbook (check the index if you have a different edition.
Now on to the discussion:
