PGC Reflection

This week you will complete the PGC reflection paper, which is the final “capstone” assignment in the RN to BSN program. The purpose of the paper is to showcase how you have met the nine Program Graduate Competencies during your time in the BSN program, how you have achieved your goals for NUR 460, and to reflect on your personal and professional growth using your nursing philosophy and theoretical framework as a guide.

Instructions

• Develop a comprehensive paper that addresses each of the following: 
  • Describes how each PGC has been met.
  • Discusses how the course goals you developed from your SWOT analysis were achieved.
  • Provides specific examples from general education courses, nursing courses, and practicum experiences to support the achievement of the PGCs.
  • Relates how practicum experiences in both NUR 330 and NUR 460 helped to meet the PGCs.
  • Integrates thoughts on how your personal nursing philosophy and nursing theory influenced the achievement of the PGCs. 
• Use scholarly resources to support your work.
• Post the finished paper to your eportfolio as the last artifact.

Format & Grading

• The paper should be a minimum of 6-10 pages.
• The paper should adhere to APA 7 format. This includes a title page, page numbers, appropriate content structure and headings, correct in-text citations, and a reference page.
• Students are expected to use correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure.
• The paper should be written in first person tense. This is your personal reflection.

• This assignment is worth 20 points
