Sepration of power in Indian context

Sepration of power idea was given by montesque in which all the three organ of state i.e, legislature, executive and judiciary are seperated from each other in water tied compartment and supirior in each area.IN India this idea was adopted in a modified manner where each organ of state have some control over each other and put some responsiblity over each other and this system is called as check and balance system. However in Indian parliamentry system where executive is a part of legislature complete sepration is not possible.Hence supreme court held that seperation of power is a part of basic structure of constitution
