Part of your grade is based on selection,integration,and citation of quotations.Post responses to both prompts. You must post on two different days to earn full credit for participation.Post 1: Identify a character from both a fiction (Zitkala-Sa, Alexie’s “Pawn Shop,” Wright, or Ellison) and a nonfiction (Tecumseh, Jacobs, or Douglass) piece that we have read this week. For each character, address the following:
Define success for that character. What limitations from society does that character perceive are being placed on him/her because of race? Does that character achieve success through hard work?
Criteria:
300 words minimum (excluding quotations and citations) Include two properly integrated and cited quotations one from each work) to support your claims. You may use either direct or paraphrased quotes. See the Literary Analysis Tools Modules in Weeks 1 and 2 for information about integrating and citing quotes.
