Lesson 11 Discussion: Emotion Recognition Training

Each student must make one post regarding their experiences of taking the online emotion recognition training.  How did you like it? How did you feel about it? How easy or hard was it for you?  Did you improve, etc.?  Regarding length of your post, you have two (and only two) options:

Option 1: post must be in Haiku style. “A traditional Japanese haiku is a three-line poem with seventeen syllables, written in a 5/7/5 syllable count. Often focusing on images from nature, haiku emphasizes simplicity, intensity, and directness of expression.” Wikipedia.  Here are a couple famous Haikus:

First autumn morning
the mirror I stare into
shows my father’s face.

– Murakami Kijo

Toward those short trees
We saw a hawk descending
On a day in spring.

– Masaoka Shiki

Option 2: your post can contain no more than 140 characters (which is Twitter style).

In your post, try, if possible, to convey an emotional state.  No requirement to reply this week. If you wish to reply: reply only with Emojis, with an additional Haiku, or with a roughly 8-12 word sentence that conveys a feeling state.  E.g. “I feel x about your post”.  Have fun!
