Summary Paper Instructions Selection of articleChoose an article from the pre-approved empirical articles on Blackboard (linked above). Make a copy of the ONE article you choose. When you read your chosen article, highlight the main points you think are important. This will be submitted with your paper. Be able to understand, summarize and write the main sections of the article. The main sections are the Introduction or Background, Methods and Subjects, Results, Discussion and Reference.This is a review of the research findings presented in the article. Do not copy from the article without giving proper credit (plagiarism will result in a grade of “0”). Tell me in your own words, but write in 3rd person. This is a formal summary not an “I” paper. Turn in your highlighted copy of the empirical article.Your paper will consist of a brief summary of each section of the article (Introduction, Methods, Subjects, Results, Discussion). Your Reference section should only contain the correct APA style reference for the article you selected. In order to receive all possible points your paper must be typed, double space, free from typos, spelling errors, and grammatical mistakes. It must demonstrate that you understood 1) the relevant background information, 2) how the research was conducted and who the subjects were, 3) what the results were, 4) the importance of the results, and 5) how to correctly reference the article in APA style.
