Write a narrative essay in which you remember an event and imply a point or send a message to your audience. The story of the essay should be based on one of the most impressive events that has happened to you. In your essay, you should tell the story in the way the event happened sequentially– chronological development.
Make your story into the one that contains vivid images and details so that your story will help your audience see, hear, smell, or taste (in imagination) what you record on the pages. Therefore, your narration will please your audience’s imagination, move their passion, and enlighten their understanding. Vivid images and minute details will help make your readers experience what you have experienced from the event, therefore, emotionally engaged. Eventually, your paper will turn out to be the one that conveys a certain message that enlightens your readers’ understanding and that is enriched by the use of vivid images and minute details.
This essay assignment will be evaluated and commented on with the following points:
¨ A workable thesis that implicitly or explicitly states the meaning of the event or sends the message to your audience with a chronological order.
¨ The descriptions of your reactions to the event with insights.
¨ The use of specifics and images.
