Please read this Criteria as many people have questions that are answered herein:
1. Write from a place of knowledge AFTER you have completed the other parts of the module.  Your analysis is a culminating event.
2.  Show Depth of Thought, Critical Analysis, and Learning in your Writing.
3.  Use your own words. 
4.  You may use outside sources.  Properly cite if you use other people’s words or ideas.
5.  At a minimum write 500-750 MEANINGFUL words that show that you are learning.  This is a minimum and you are welcome to write as much as you’d like.
6.  Use 12 pt. font, double spaced, regular margins, no fillers or nonsense.
Questions and Prompts
1.  Choose one of the following items, research it, and share what you have learned:  World Trade Organization (WTO), World Bank (WB), OR International Monetary Fund (IMF).
2.  How did Reagan and Bush policies/politics impact African American families?
3.  During the Carter, Reagan, and Bush presidencies, three things became very evident:  the U.S. would not participate in discussing or solving global climate change, laborers would be sold out in favor of big business at every possible turn, and enormous military spending would be a main focus.  After reading Zinn, discuss the ways in which these three presidential administrations conducted themselves around these three topics.
4.  Discuss what you learned about the story of 1492, 1992, and Columbus Day.  How has this moved you?
5.  Explain why a “voluntary approach” is not a helpful enforcement technique in protecting the environment from big business.
6.  Discuss Real Women Have Curves.  
      a.  What did you find most important about the film?
      b.  How is the film a counter-narrative?
      c.  Discuss three relationships depicted in the film.
7.  What is Michelle Alexander’s thesis in The New Jim Crow?
     a.   How is The New Jim Crow a counter-narrative?
8.   Discuss what you have learned about HIV and AIDS.  
      a.  Do a little bit of research on Anthony Fauci from reputable sources.  Share what you have learned about this man who found himself first at the center of a very political epidemic (AIDS) in the 80s and then again, at the center of the Covid Pandemic last year (and still).  
       b.  Why is it dangerous for the citizens of ANY country to have governmental leaders politicize disease?
       c.  How have AIDS and Covid been impacted by economics, politics, educational status, constructs of gender and sex, and religion?  (For each this will be a different answer.)
