LOVE – PERSONAL

Where theories and concepts are discussed, students should reference their work appropriately. This written piece can take any format the student would like – e.g. a letter, a diary entry, a blog, an imagined dialogue, a fieldnote, poem etc (up to the word limit of 750 words). The core skills to be harnessed and developed in this assignment are: linking the self to the social, or the student’s own experience to theory; identifying and valuing experience and/or embedded or implicit knowledge; developing an awareness of the historical and social context of experiences, and the capacity to reflect on this; developing critical reading skills.
