Now that you’ve become familiar with your article of choice, revisit the article in order to answer the questions below in complete sentences. Type your assignment responses into this document, save your work, attach the saved document in the assignment submission area, and submit your assignment on Blackboard.

The author(s): In a few sentences, provide a bit of information on the author. (NOTE: If more than one author is listed, do research on the first author). Who is the author? What are their credentials? What experience do they have? What kind of topics do they write about? Remember to provide in-text citations for any research provided!

-The passage you used in last week’s assignment (This can be copied and pasted from last week, and will not be marked, but simply used for reference)
-One passage that you believe shows an example of ethos
-One passage that you believe shows an example of logos
Remember to label which kind of pathos/ethos/logos is being used (anecdotes, claiming authority, borrowing authority, facts/statistics, cause/effect reasoning, etc.)

-In the center column, identify which type of example it is, and add a small explanation of how the author is using the appeal.
-In the right column, evaluate the author’s use of the appeal (i.e. tell me if you think it was persuasive or not, as well as why/why not).
